Fundraising Challenge

February 6, 2007

As you know, my martial arts school is raising money to fund research on childhood cancer: you give money, we break stuff spectacularly in the mall. Some of you have donated with the Paypal button over there on the right. Others have sent me a check in the mail. Thank you so much for your generosity. It has inspired me. And so I will issue a challenge: you make my donate-o-meter hit $250, forget wooden boards – I go straight to the concrete.

That’s right. If you collectively donate $250 by February 24, I will break a concrete brick. Not only will I do this, but I will post photographic (if not video) evidence of it right here for you to see.

If you have already donated, thank you! If you haven’t done so yet, please do. You can donate via Paypal or credit card by clicking the button on the right. Or if you prefer you can send me a personal check. More details here.

  1. […] Scott Feldstein, along with being a worthy debater in opposition to my right-leaning musings, is also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He will part of a fund-raising exhibition with the J.K. Lee Black Belt Academy on February 24th at the Mayfair Mall. Scott has issued a Fund Raising Challenge at his website. He will be breaking boards during the exhibition. His challenge to readers is that he will break concrete blocks if the donations reach a certain level. Click the link for details. Scott did not ask me to post this. I am plugging the fund raiser because I think it is a very important cause. Posted by: Dave on Feb 06, 07 | 10:35 pm | Profile [0] comments (0 views) |  [0] Trackbacks   [0] Pingbacks […]
