Pan’s Labyrinth

March 11, 2007

Jeez, what was I just saying about movie violence? Pan’s Labyrinth had much more than I expected – although it should be noted that almost all of it was in the real-life world of 1940s Spain, and not in the fantasy world alluded to in the title. Generally speaking, Pan’s Labyrinth was darker and sadder than I expected, but I still recommend it.

There was one sequence that reminded me somehow of a minor but scary task that all Zelda: Ocarina of Time players may remember. Kudos to anyone who guesses it.

  1. That is easy. The task where you have to enter the tomb of the Royal family, and find those scary monsters that oddly seem like the eyes-in-hand guy that appears in Pan’s Labyrinth.

Jeez, if I’m not correct, I’m not a true geek.

  2. I was thinking of the guy at the bottom of the well in Kakariko. The guy who’s long pale hands come out of the ground and then he tries to bite you.
