A Humble Note On My Technology Prescience

I blew it. Again. I didn’t see the writing on the wall. It has been observed that the worst thing that can befall a technologist is “not getting it.” And this time I totally didn’t get it. I thought there was no way major record labels were going to sell popular music online without DRM. And now it seems they’re going to.

It’s not the first time I’ve been caught flat-footed, either.

Oh, well. Nobody’s perfect. Back at it.
