Want to go out and have a drink tonight?

May 9, 2007

It’s almost the second Wednesday of May…it’s spring in Milwaukee…finals are over (or are just beginning, or have been over for many years, depending on where and when you went to school)…and it’s time for another installment of Drinking Liberally!

The details:
• Wednesday, May 9
• 7 – 9 pm (but many people come later and stay later)
• Club Garibaldi, 2501 S. Superior St. in Bay View
• We’re in the back room, near the stage

A few announcements:
• We’re now on MySpace! Please find us and friend us at http://myspace.com/drinkingliberallymke.

• Drinking Liberally is seeking new co-hosts! Jason and I aren’t quitting, but we are getting busier and we need a few regulars (or new regulars!) to step up to the plate. Please let us know via e-mail or in person if you’d be interested…the time commitment is as little as what you’d be doing anyway by attending Drinking Liberally.

• Case in point: Jason’s unfortunately not going to be with us Wednesday, and I will be coming in late. So, the gathering may be hostless for awhile! Never fear: If you’ve been before, you know where to go. If you’re new, just head into the back room and look for the friendly group near the stage.

Hope to see you soon!
–Stacie, Jason (& Maybe YOU!), your Milwaukee DL Crew!

As it turns out, I myself will be in attendance tonight. I’ll even be bringing a boatload of DL buttons to give away to the first, oh, 50 people. See you there!
